The Cape Winelands is a region of the Western Cape and is the largest wine producing territory in South Africa.

Within less than an hours drive from Cape Town, one can visit many of the 16 official wine route’s (including brandy), with the most popular being Stellenbosch, Paarl and the gastronomic village of Franschoek (French corner). One can casually wonder from one wine estate to the next sampling the farms finest cultivars. Enjoy a picnic in the vineyards or experience a fine lunch at one of the restaurants that many wine estates now offer. Alternatively, a guide, specializing in wine tours can take you on an inspirational, private tour woven around personal interests and preferences.
