The Olive House is the second oldest house in Montagu and a National Monument, situated at 20 Bath Street in the quiet and calm west of the town.
Accommodation
The Olive House comprises of five beautifully decorated rooms. One family room, one double en-suite bedroom in the main house and three garden rooms with a small swimming pool.
It offers a perfect base to relax or to explore the area. It has an expansive open feel and offers an experience unusual to the tourism business in this region. It comprises now a Restaurant offering a variety of local and international cuisine in a lovely garden setting.
All rooms can be booked on either a bed and breakfast, dinner, bed and breakfast, or self-catering basis. We are also pet friendly.

TV lounge (DSTV) and indoor dining room both with open fire places for the cold winter nights.
A well equipped communal kitchen, braai area and full Wifi.
Activities
Art in the Garden is offered on Saturdays with live music during the day. Local artists can be observed working and some activities for participation are also offered.

Enjoy a Tractor ride with a difference. There are over 300 free climb routes and a number of cycling routes in the area. Visit the Montagu Hot Springs and excellent wine farms in the Langeberg region.
