The Oberoi, Mauritius is located at Turtle Bay on the North-West coast of Mauritius. It has twenty acres of lush sub-tropical gardens, six hundred metres of oceanfront and is surrounded by a turquoise lagoon; a majestic range of green mountains can be seen on the horizon.

Accommodation

All the public rooms overlook the azure lagoon. With seventy-one rooms in total, the hotel accommodation includes two Royal Villas with private pool and sixteen Luxury Villas with private swimming pools, five Luxury Villas with private garden and forty-eight Luxury Pavilions.

The spacious bathrooms have a large vanity counter, a sunken bath and a separate shower stall. All bathrooms overlook open-air private tropical gardens.

The Luxury Villas have their own private courtyards, an elevated dining pavilion from where one can view the magnificent lagoon and the Indian Ocean while dining in the privacy of their own Villas. The majority of the Villas have their own private swimming-pool for utmost discretion and relaxation.

The epitome of luxury and elegance, the Royal Villas with Private Pool (650 square metres) can be easily used as one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom Villas by being connected to additional luxury pavilions or a private villa via a small courtyard.

Facilities

The resort has two restaurants, three bars, two swimming pools, a holistic spa, conference facilities, two boutiques and two floodlit tennis courts.

The Main Restaurant offers contemporary refined cuisine with subtle Mediterranean influences inspired by the warm climes of the island. Indian and Creole delicatessen are also available every evening on the menu.

Light meals, tropical fruit and cocktails will be served at the Lagoon Pool Restaurant in a casual atmosphere all day till sunset, whereas a modern fusion cuisine will be served in the evening.

The Oberoi Spa offers a wide range of holistic Aromatherapy and Ayurveda treatments, body massages and scrubs, and specially designed wellness programmes with 100% natural products.

Activities

Water sports such as snorkeling, water-skiing, windsurfing and hobie-cat sailing can be enjoyed in the lagoon off Turtle Bay which borders the hotel. The hotel can also organize sunset cruises, big-game fishing, catamaran and speed-boat excursions, and provide scuba diving with its in-house diving centre.
