Deep in the heart of the Magaliesberg mountains, nestled along the banks of the Crocodile river, lies Mount Amanzi Resort. Mount Amanzi comprises of 168 self-catering chalets with both 5 or 6 beds.
Mount Amanzi is only a 45-minute drive from Johannesburg and 35 minute's drive from Pretoria.
Accommodation
Accommodation is separated into three camps and all condos are thatched. Each chalet has its own braai facility and parking space for one vehicle. Chalets are equipped with linen, towels, crockery and cutlery. Each chalet has its own TV and microwave. Bring only your swimming towels. A short walk from all three camps will take you to the banks of the Crocodile River. All the units on the resort have steps inside as well as on the veranda and are not accessible to guests with any disabilities
5-bed Chalet
Open plan double-storey; double bed, kitchen, bathroom and small lounge area downstairs and three single beds upstairs.
6-bed Chalet
Lounge, kitchen, bathroom, small dining area, bedroom with double bed and sleeper couch downstairs and separate bedroom with two single beds upstairs.
6-bed Luxury Chalet
Lounge, dining, kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one en-suite) downstairs, and one bedroom en-suite upstairs. Extras include TV , Jacuzzi bath and private braai patio on the river bank.
Facilities
The country kitchen caters for buffet meals. A small on-site shop will provide other essentials, e.g. firewood, charcoal, sun lotion etc.
Resort facilities include hot and cold pools, tennis courts, trampolines, putt putt, volleyball, action cricket, gym, health centre, herb garden, mini market and an entertainment centre with TV, pool tables.
There are also wedding and conferens facilities.
