Flamingo Lodge is a 4 star B&B offering 1 self-catering unit and is situated in the heart of Umhlanga Rocks, just 12 kilometers north of downtown Durban. It's closest of all the B&B's (200 meters) to the main bathing beach, and the Beach front Promenade.
The beach front promenade is ideal for those people who like to walk or jog and is about 4 kilometers long, with spectacular scenery, open air restaurants and the occasional sighting of dolphins and whales.

Each of the 7 tastefully decorated B&B bedrooms all have their own en suite bathrooms/showers, as well as their own private patios. All rooms are equipped with 32” HD LCD flat screen televisions, DSTV, safes, tea/coffee making facilities, wireless internet access and individually controlled air-cons and fans.
There are double/ twin & family rooms available.
Self-catering unit
The self-catering unit consists of a king size double or alternatively twin beds in the bedroom as well as a double sleeper couch in the lounge. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen including cutlery and crockery, refrigerator, microwave, oven and hob. The bathroom has a separate shower. Complimentary items include tea and coffee, individually wrapped soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and sewing kit.
