Capricorn Restcamp is situated next to the Naukluft Mountainsmaking it a stop-over option en route from Windhoek to Sossusvlei or from the South to
the coast.
Accommodation
The four bungalows are all equipped with twin beds, own shower
& toilet, terrace, fireplace (braai) and electrical lights. Parking places
are close to the bungalows.
There are four camp sites with shadow netting, fireplace
(braai) and benches/tables. The camp site has a communal toilet- and shower
house.
This accommodation offers also fire-wood in a small
Travel-Shop. Breakfast and Dinner can also be booked for Camper. Please meals
always pre-booked.
The ablution block has 2 x WC, 2 x shower with basin and 2 x
basin outside.

Activities
Capricorn Rest Camp is situated between the small villages
of Nabaseb & Rietoog, close to the majestic Naukluft Mountains (which form part of the much
larger Namib-Naukluft Park).
This is a beautiful, mountainous, semi-desert part of Namibia and is a popular hiking area, as well as
serving as a stop-over for those on their way further into the Namib Desert, to the dunes at Sossusvlei. This is a small
owner managed property and is best for those who are willing to forego luxury
to experience Namibian hospitality in a beautiful setting. |
