Located in the
west side of the ‘Malaria Free’ Pilanesberg
National Park, and only 33km from Sun City – it is the ideal location for a luxurious
bushveld breakaway.
The lodge is set
amongst the trees of an old Tamboti forest at the foot of an ancient volcanic
crater that today comprises one of South Africa’s
most exciting Big 5 eco-tourism destinations, the greater Pilanesberg National Park.
It is from here, accompanied by your personal game ranger, that you will be
able explore a 58 000ha malaria free wildlife wonderland and discover the magic
of the African bush.
The Lodge is
built overlooking a busy waterhole, which is a hive of bird and animal
activity, and a playground for the elephant. Once, you are awakened with a hot
cup of coffee, your host ranger will take you out on an exceptional game drive,
taking you through the Black Rhino reserve, into the unexplored valley of the
Pilanesberg, until we reach the 200km network Pilanesberg Park roads.
Accommodation
The lodge boasts
14 very spacious and luxuriously appointed free-standing bedroom suites,
equipped with a mini bar, air conditioner, hot beverage unit and television.
The patio doors open out into the bush, and if you look out quietly, you will
see the herds of impala or a lone elephant walking by. The designer bathrooms,
open out into your own private outside shower, and are perfect to cool down on
a hot day.

caters for all your exquisite meals in an atmospheric restaurant. Both the bar
and the restaurant open out onto the viewing deck, so you are always close to
nature. In addition, there is a small central entertainment area comprising a
boma, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining and covered patio with a plunge
